JPMorgan, South Korea's KB Kookmin are moving payments onchain

A new collaboration between two major financial institutions is bringing traditional payments onto the blockchain. Scott Melker, host of "The Daily Wolf," recently discussed the reported partnership between KB Kookmin Bank, the largest bank in South Korea, and JPMorgan Chase's Kinexys platform.

The move signals a growing trend of legacy banks adopting distributed ledger technology for real-world transactions. Kinexys, JPMorgan's blockchain-based system, is designed to handle complex payment flows and settlement processes.
